The dLSoft
dBarcode-1D Developers kit includes an Active DLL and full instructions for writing your own barcode applications in Microsoft Visual Basic-6, VBA,
C/C++ and .NET and Delphi. Also included is an OLE-2 server for OLE-enabled Windows applications.
Each unit enables the developer to set the code, code type, size, font details, orientation, background and foreground colours, and to enable or disable text characters all from within their application.
Each unit generates both a pattern string for bars and spaces and a metafile picture containing the barcode image and (where enabled) the code text. The picture may be displayed, printed, saved or passed to the clipboard by the user’s code.
Can also generate font-based barcodes for use when it is desirable to permanently store the barcode without requiring lots of storage, such as in large spreadsheets or databases.
Source code for demonstration applications included.

Available as a single computer version, or as a developer version which permits distribution of the run-time for up to 10,000 distributions.
System requirements
Requires Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/Windows 7. The 32 bit DLL may be used on 32 or 64 bit systems. The 64 bit DLL is suitable only for 64 bit systems.
Stand-alone program can copy barcode image to clipboard or save image as file (.WMF, PCX, BMP, GIF, PNG, EPS). OLE-2 Embedded Server, In-Place Server and Automation facilities require an OLE-2 compatible client application (such as Word 2000 or later) or Visual Basic 6.0 or later. Active DLL unit may be used from VB, VBA, Visual C/C++ or compatible Windows development system. Office macros require at least one of Word, Excel or Access from MS Office 2000/2002, 2003 or 2007.
