The Java servlet supplied with Server/Multi user versions may be installed on a remote computer by copying the contents of the java\servlet folder of the 2D Barcode Tools for Crystal Reports installation directory to a suitable location on the web server and ensuring that the classes in the com\dLSoft folder are available to the servlet.
The servlet source code (provided in the java\source folder) may be modified and recompiled as required. The servlet requires the licensee’s serial number to be provided in the init() routine using the bcard.setSerial() function.
Single computer licenced version include a trial version of the Java servlet which will created barcode images with scrambled data.
