Step 2.

Ensure that the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 is installed.

Note: Version 2.0 of the Framework is required only to enable IIS to run Barcode image server’s ASP.NET page. Its presence will not interfere with older versions of the Framework which you may have installed. Windows Vista normally has this version installed by default.

Windows 2000/XP or Vista: You can check for the presence of the .NET Framework version 2.0 using Windows Explorer. Open the folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework  If the folder v2.0.50727 is present the then required version is available and you can proceed to step 3.

If version 2 of the Framework is not installed then it may be installed by running Windows Update and selecting the Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 from the list of Optional or Custom software updates available.
