Right-click on the area of the report’s section at which you wish to place a barcode image and select Insert and Picture from the pop-up menus displayed
When the dialog appears for you to specify the source of the picture navigate to the Barcode Tools for Crystal Reports installation directory and choose the dummybarcode image. A barcode placeholder will then be displayed on the report.
