Items table

Pushing the Items button in the Control Centre displays the Item Data form:

 

 

Each Item must have a name, a selling price and a category code; it may also have a description and/or a image to display on its push button. If you Browse for an image file to associate with an item then that file will be copied to the TouchTil Database directory.

You will learn later about importing item lists from a spreadsheet or text file.

To add a new item just push the New button and enter the data. When you are satisfied, push the Update button to ensure that the database is updated.

To view different items push the First, Previous, Next or Last buttons – or you can search for an item by entering something in the Find box and pressing the enter key.

To change the item’s data just make the changes on the form, then push the Update button. To remove the item from the database just push the Remove button.

Pushing the Continue button returns you to the Control Centre.

 

You can view a list of your items by pushing the list button on the Items form which causes the Items List to be displayed. The list order may be may be changed by clicking on the column header of any column. Item details may be edited on the list, or an item deleted by selecting the indicator tab at the left of the row (as shown below) and pushing the delete button.
