If your business issues tickets rather than products, then TouchTil can print the tickets as well as the bill or receipt. Ticket printing mode is enable in the Options dialog of the Setup & Maintenance screen, and you have the option of printing the tickets EITHER when they are paid for (ie when the Cash or Card buttons are chosen on the Orders screen) OR when a bill is printed (ie when Bill only is chosen on the Orders screen). In either case a ticket printer must be selected and the tickets must be designed by selecting pushing the Ticket design button on the Setup & Maintenance screen. Of course, tickets and receipts may be printed on the same printer and stationery if required.
The principle difference between the ticket template and the receipt and order templates is that the ticket template can take text blocks and pictures from the items and categories database fields.
When the Ticket design button is pushed the Ticket layout is displayed.

In this case the designer may be accessed from the Edit – Designer menu, and this provides the option of taking the source of a block may be selected from the drop-down list of database fields provided in the block’s Properties dialog.

With the ticket design in place TouchTil is operated normally, and when the Print button is pushed on the ordering screen the tickets are printed on the designated ticket printer and the receipt is printed on the receipt printer.

Printed tickets may include a category serial number (using the catSerial field). The initial number for any category may be reset to 1 by pushing the Reset serials button in the Setup & Maintenance screen, which displays the Ticket serials dialog:

For users who prefer to pre-print tickets the AnyLabels program included with TouchTil provides a versatile system for doing this.
