The Categories table

Let’s start with the Categories table. Pushing the Categories button display the Category Data form:

 

 

On this form you can edit the name of the category and select an image that you would like to appear on the category’s push button.

Note that the image file MUST be placed in the TouchTil Database directory. You may not use images located in other folders. If you use the Browse button to locate an image file to assign to a category, then that file will be copied to the TouchTil Database directory.

To add a new category just push the New button and enter the data. When you are satisfied, push the Update button to ensure that the database is updated.

To view a different category push the First, Previous, Next or Last buttons – or you can select from the existing categories using the drop-down list, or search for a category by entering something in the Find box and pressing the enter key.

To change a category’s data just make the changes on the form, then push the Update button. To remove the category from the database just push the Remove button.

You can also view your categories in a list by pushing the List button.
