This variable must contain the code string from which the barcode image is to be created before a call to BarCodem or other image creating function.

Note that in barcodes the difference between upper and lower case letters is significant. Few coding schemes support lower case letters. Also note that when calling from Visual Basic this item must be dimensioned in Basic as an array of 80 bytes - not a Basic string.
