Licensing of Barcode Macros for Office components

The Barcode for Office macros and the associated barcode library are supplied licensed for use on a specific number of computers. You must ensure that you have the required number of licences for the computers onto which you are installing the product.

Barcode pictures (and documents containing the pictures) created with the macros may be distributed without restriction and do not require the presence of any Barcode Macros for Office component to be viewed or printed.

Font-based barcodes require the presence of the font on the PC that will display or view the barcodes. However, multi-user versions of the barcode fonts contain embedding licences and so the fonts may be embedded into Word documents and Acrobat pdf files, so that the document may be viewed or printed on a PC that does not have the font installed.

If you intend to redistribute any of the Barcode Macros for Office macros, or their associated library files or fonts then you must obtain a royalty-free redistribution licence version of the Barcode library and asssociated fonts.

Users and developers may freely edit the macros, but the required licences still apply to the use of the DLSBAR34.DLL library file which the macros call and the associated fonts.
