getNStrings()

Parameters: none

Return type: int

Returns the number of strings available for the current barcode symbol – this is the number of lines of characters that need to be displayed or printed in the relevant font to form the symbol.

The function returns 0 if there is no current barcode or if an error has been encountered while creating the barcode.
