dBarcode 2003/5/7 and dBarcode-32 Pro versions only
dBarcode can be used as a stand-alone application as outlined in the introduction. However, dBarcode Pro is also an OLE automation server application which generates its barcode images as Objects, each one of which is know as a dBarcode-1D image.
Note: Before dBarcode is used as an OLE server for the first time, it is necessary to run the DBC2K.EXE program as a stand-alone application so that dBarcode can register itself with you Window's Registration database. If you ever need to reinstall Windows, or if you move the DBC2K.EXE file to a different subdirectory you will need to run the DBC2K.EXE program again to ensure that the registration database is updated. Alternatively the dbarcode.reg file may be used to add the entries to the registry.
