A control flag for modifying the output from specific barcode types.
At the present time this flag effects only EAN and UPC barcodes. A value of 1 permits the detection of 2 or 5 digit supplementaries; a value of 0 means that any supplementaries present in the barcode a not scanned or decoded.
This flag is applied to the following barcodes:
EAN-8
EAN-13/JAN-13
UPC-A
UPC-E
