Adding a picture element

To create a picture element choose ADD ELEMENT from the EDIT menu and select Picture from the list displayed.

Again the cursor changes to crossed wires. Move the cursor to where the top left-hand corner of the picture should appear in the top left-hand label image. Holding down the left mouse drag the cursor down and to the right to draw a box for the picture. Then release the left mouse button.

A dotted box appears - this is where the picture will be displayed.

To specify what the picture will be, double click within the dotted box using the left mouse button.

The Picture property pages appear, with the Source page on top.

Assuming for the moment that we will import the picture from a disk file, ensure that the Fixed Picture button is selected for the picture source and that the Preview check box is checked.

Now push the Browse button.

A file open dialog box appears. The picture type may be selected from the drop-down list of supported file types at the bottom of the dialog, and the list of available files appears in the window.

Selected the required file and push the Open button. The file open dialog closed and returns to the picture property pages - showing a preview of the selected picture in the “Preview of picture” window.

Push the OK button and the picture will be displayed on every label.
