The border property page contains a text box which allows the thickness (in millimetres) of the required border to be entered (there is also a scroll box which allows the thickness to be incremented in steps of 0.1 mm). A sample of the border is displayed in the Sample region.
Normally the border will be drawn on the outside of the rectangle allowed for the element. However, a check box is provided which, if checked, will cause the border to be draw on the inside of the rectangle.
The style of the lines used for the border may be selected by pushing the Change Style button. A palette of the available styles is displayed, including single, double and treble lines and dotted lines. Clicking on the required style causes the palette to close and the selected style to be drawn in the border page’s Sample region.
The colours of the line(s) used to create the border may be specified by pushing the Colours buttons and selecting the required colour from the palette displayed. Note that one or two of the line colour buttons will be disable for line styles which do not require all three lines.
