Database Sort page

The Database Sort page allows the user to Sort the current database in a variety of ways.

The database may be sorted using data in any field by selecting the appropriate field from the drop-down list of field names.

The required sorting operation may be specified by pushing the appropriate sort type radio button (alphabetic or numeric) and sort order radio button (ascending or descending). The sorting operation may be made case sensitive by checking the Case Sensitive Sort check box. Also one of the available filters may be selected from the drop-down list to specify which part of a field is to be used for sorting. For example, a sort can be based on the last word of the first line of a client name field in order to sort on surnames.

Note that if the database has been opened as Read Only then the sorted database will not be saved in its new order.
