Display page

The Display page enables the colour of the screen label and its outline to be selected by pushing the Set Label and Set Border buttons respectively. The colour of the dLabel window background may also be set by pushing the Set background button.

Note that these colours effect ONLY the screen display - not printed output.

The spacing of an alignment grid may also be specified and the grid may be made visible by checking the Show grid checkbox.

If the Snap to grid checkbox is checked then a movements of an element on the label image will cause the element to jump to the nearest grid points. Similarly changing the size of an element’s bounding rectangle cause the elements size to change so that its corner are at the nearest grid points.

Movement of elements is normally be accomplished using the mouse. However, when one or more elements is selected, the cursor keys may also be used to cause movement. The magnitude of this movement for each press of a cursor key may be specified by entering the required value into the Cursor key movement box. Note that holding down the shift key while pressing a cursor key causes 10 times as much movement.
