Form layout page

The Form layout page allows labels to be defined in terms of the number of labels per printer page and associated margins. Both the design and the image displayed should be interpreted as Portrait orientation. The orientation may be changed to Landscape only in the Form Selection page.

Text boxes are provided to contain the form name (which will appear in the drop-down list of the Form selection page), the number of labels down the page and across the page, and the gaps (in millimetres) between them. Text boxes also provide for the entry of margins at the sides and top and bottom of the page, or, if the labels are centred on the page and the Centred on page check box is checked, for the left-hand and top margins alone.

Note that if you are creating a new label specification you should start by choosing one of the Custom .. labels from the drop down list on the Form selection page, then editing its name and layout.

A thumbnail image of the printer’s page layout is displayed in the Portrait View region.
