Selecting Headers and Footers toggles on and off dLabel’s Headers & Footers mode. When in Headers & Footers mode this item is ticked.
In Headers & Footers mode the display is modified so that any margins available on the printed page are visible (e.g. above and below the label areas). Elements may be placed in these areas to acts as page headers or page footers.
To add a page heading element choose Add Element from the Edit menu and then hold down the Shift key while drawing the region for the element. To add a footer, hold down the Control key while drawing the region for the element. Note that in Headers and Footers mode normal label elements cannot be selected - only header elements and footer elements may be selected and edited in this mode.
Headers are printed before the labels on the page, while footers are printed after the labels on the page.
Page numbers may be included in headers and footers using the Synthesiser Wizard.
