How to put an element on a label/form

All elements (i.e. text blocks, pictures, shapes, lines or barcodes) are added to the screen image of a label in the same basic way - by choosing Add Element on the Edit menu and then selecting the required element from the list of available elements displayed.

The Mouse cursor changes to crossed wires. Position the cursor on the label image (or the image of the top left-hand label where more than one label is displayed) at the point at which you want the top left-hand corner of the element to appear, and, holding down the left mouse button, draw a box by dragging the mouse down and to the right. Then release the left mouse button.

A box outline (or a barcode for a barcode element) is shown on the label image (and on all the other label images which are visible).

Once the element has been placed on the label the content of the element needs to be specified, by double clicking on the element with the left mouse button, or clicking once with the right mouse button and using the displayed element property pages to set the elements content and properties.
