Paste Record

Selecting Paste Record causes the current record (or the record displayed in the top left hand corner of the page in the case of multiple record displays) to be replaced by the contents of the Windows clipboard. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the data on the clipboard is compatible with dLabel database design. Pasting text that is not suitable for the current database design may cause unpredictable results.

Note that all fields in the record are replaced, even if some fields may not be visible on the current label display. If the clipboard data does not contain enough information for the database fields, fields are filled in the order in which they appear in the lists of field names. Fields for which there is no data will be set as empty.
