Before printing labels it is useful to select Print Preview from the File menu so that you can check that the printed page will contain the labels you are expecting.
By default selecting Print Preview will cause the Print property pages to be displayed. [This feature may be turned off by clearing the “On Preview” check box within the Print page.]
The Print page allows you to specify the number of copies of a label you wish to print. Note that this is not the number of printer pages. For example, if a sheet of labels contains 16 labels and you wish to print 16 labels, then 16 must be entered into the Copies box on the Print page. The number of copies will always default to 1.
The Print page also displays the name of currently selected printer and allows a number of options to be set for printing labels from a database.
The property pages also contain a Control page that enables specific printer features to be set before printing. The most important of these for label printing is usually the choice of paper source - which may be manual feed rather than a default paper tray for printers which are normally used for printing on paper.
When the Control page and Print page contain the required data, push the OK button to Preview or Print the labels.
