Daily reports

At the end of each business day you can print a report to show the value of sales (and tax) for the day, along with a breakdown of tax at different tax rates (if applicable). The daily report can also list the totals of items sold during the day and the remaining stock level of those items. For the Daily Report the sales included are those that took place between a “threshold time” (specified in the Setup and Maintenance screen) on the target day and the threshold time on the previous day. The facility to set the threshold time is provided to allow for business with a trading day that includes midnight!

From the Control Centre push the End of Day button to display the End of Day report screen.

 

 

Check any of the optional check boxes you require and then press the Create Report button.

The report is displayed in the scrollable window, and the contents may be saved to a text file or copied for subsequent printing by pushing the Save or Copy buttons, or printed on the receipt printer by pushing the Print button.

Note that the image above is for the Multi-point version of dPoS, and includes a check box labelled “This sale point only”. When checked the report includes only sales made from this computer and does not include sales from other computers on the network.
