Period reports

Period reports are usually required for tax analysis purposes and need to cover a specified accounting period. Pushing the Period Report button displays the Period Report screen, which allows the dates for the start and end of the period to be specified. Pushing the Create Report displays the report in the scrollable window, and the contents may be saved to a text file or copied for subsequent printing by pushing the Save or Copy buttons, or printed on the receipt printer by pushing the Print button.

 

Note that the image above is for the Multi-point version of dPoS, and includes a check box labelled “This sale point only”. When checked the report includes only sales made from this computer and does not include sales from other computers on the network.

 

Unlike the Daily Reports, the time period covered by the Period Report is from midnight on the start date to midnight on the end date.
