Stock control

dPos can track the stock level of your items, and it will do it correctly IF you are careful to ensure that stock level changes are all recorded. Stock levels are automatically reduced on each sale. Stock levels may be viewed by pushing the Stock button on the Control Centre. The Stock Levels screen is displayed, and the items shown may be ordered by clicking on the column headings.

The stock level for a particular item may be checked by scanning the item’s barcode or item code, and the item will be highlighted in the displayed list as shown above.

If you have entered a Reorder level in the Item’s screen, then checking the “Show only items with low stock levels” checkbox cause the display of only those items for which the stock level is less than or equal to the reorder threshold.

Of course it is always possible to adjust the quantity in stock by editing the Stock value in the Item screen.

As usual these lists may be saved to disk files or printed on the receipt printer.
