The UnifontJ Java Class can convert a String (Caption) into another string (obtained using getBarcode()) that can then be displayed/printed as a barcode using one of the Universal Fonts.
The UnifontJ Java class product consists of the following components:
a UnifontJ.class file
a UnifontJ.jar archive file
an application (testJ, and its source file) that creates and prints barcode symbols using the Universal Font. The source code for this application demonstrates the use of most of the properties and methods of the UnifontJ class.
a uniappJ.java applet file and its associated class file and a simple demonstration html page
These components were built using the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE) and the J2SE 1.4.2 SDK.
All samples included in the distributions will behave as Testware unless the developer’s own serial number is provided using the setSerial(“12345”) method. Testware version produce scrambled barcodes.
Developer versions of these products permit applications built with the UnifontJ Java class components to be installed on a single server or to be distributed up to a maximum of 10,000 distributions to client computers.
