Problem
Long Code 39 barcodes produced with Barcode Fonts for Windows 
using Excel may have the final few bars missing. The bars are 
present when the cursor is in the effected cell, but disappear 
when the cursor is moved.

Applies to Excel 95 and 97 running under Windows 95 and 98

Reasons

Unlike Word, Excel does not calculate the length of the narrow 
Code 39 font string correctly when it refreshes the cell contents. 
As the same effect does not occur under Windows NT, we assume 
that this is related to a precision with which it does the calculation.

We are investigating the problem, in particular whether it is 
related to specific screen and/or printer drivers. 
At present there is no solution.
