I have installed the product but there is a hole in the barcode. What's wrong with it?
or
I have installed the product but the barcodes scan to produce scrambled data.

Answer

As it says in the README file displayed at the end of the installation you performed "Testware versions produce defaced or scrambled barcodes".

Most products need to be installed by running the distributed package and entering the serial number when requested. Some developer products (eg. the DLLs and .NET components) require the developer's serial number to be entered into the code being written by the developer.
